We are excited to welcome Katherine V. Shannon, M.D., as our newest physician to join the Women First Obstetrics & Gynecology Team. Dr. Shannon is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is particularly passionate about providing care for adolescent and post-menopausal women. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, and moved to Louisville afterwards to continue her studies. While at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, she received the Schwartz Medical Humanities Award, and she earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2013. She then traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati in 2017.
