Our goal is to make it easy for you to get the health care services you need. Women First participates with many medical insurance plans, and we encourage you to read your insurance policy handbook to become familiar with your individual coverage and pre-certification requirements. If we are a participating provider with your insurance plan, we will process and bill your insurance company for the services we provide to you.

Your co-payment, co-insurance, and/or deductible are required at the time of service and any deductible applied to our fee or non-covered charge is your direct responsibility. If you do not have medical health insurance or are receiving medical care that is not covered under your benefit plan, we request that you pay for your services the same day as your visit.

If your insurance requires prior authorization for procedures you will be receiving in our office, please inform our billing staff as soon as possible so that we can obtain the appropriate pre-approvals before your appointment.

If you are an obstetrical patient, our billing staff will help you with estimating your insurance benefits. Any amounts not covered by insurance will become your responsibility and are to be paid in full by the 28th week of pregnancy. If you do not have obstetrical (OB) benefits coverage, we are willing to set you up on a payment plan. An OB budget plan will be reviewed with you once your benefits have been verified.
If you are scheduled for surgical procedures, any deductible and/or co-insurance as determined by your insurance must be paid prior to the date of surgery.

Please bring a current copy of your insurance card and driver’s license with you to each visit. If you do not have your insurance card with you and we are not able to confirm eligibility with your insurance company, we may ask that you pay for your visit at the time of service.

Please contact our billing department for assistance if you have any questions regarding your Women First bill, insurance claim, or explanation of benefits. Our billing department can be reached at 502.891.8777, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. We accept cash, personal check, VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, and Care Credit. We also offer interest-free payment plans.

I love Dr. Brown. Hands down, she is an Angel on Earth. I literally would not be here today without her. She always tells me exactly what I need to hear, she stands up for her patients, and has believed in me when I don’t believe in myself. Woman’s health isn’t just gynecological. It’s mental. It’s having someone there to hold your hand when you’re alone. And Dr. Brown continues to hold my hand and I can’t thank her enough. I will forever be indebted to her and will love her forever. I will miss her incredibly and deeply when she retires. Thank you Dr. Brown, for everything. -Tiffany Enriquez

Only positive things to say about Women’s First! I always receive excellent communication from support staff and I’m very grateful for the doctor-patient relationship I have with Dr. Rebecca Booth. I frequently speak highly of and recommend this practice to friends, family, and colleagues!
