When you feel that you may be ready to have a baby, whether it’s your first or subsequent pregnancy, it’s natural to feel excited as well as have a lot of questions! Our Women First providers are happy to talk to women who are thinking of becoming pregnant.
Preconceptual care is medical care and education before or between pregnancies with the specific goal of increasing the chances of a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby.
While there are things all women should do before becoming pregnant, your individual medical conditions, lifestyle habits, and family history are unique. We can help you learn how to make your body healthier for conception and pregnancy, how to enhance or address concerns about fertility, and, if necessary, screen for potential medical issues that could impact your and/or your baby’s health.
