Women consider labiaplasty for both medical and cosmetic reasons. Surgery to reconstruct the inner and/or outer vaginal lips is often done to remove excess skin, to create more symmetry, to reduce the size of the labia, to alleviate pain, and to help reduce urinary incontinence.
