About Heather McLennan, APRN

Heather received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2003 from Spalding University and her Master of Science in Nurse Practitioner studies from University of Cincinnati in 2010. Prior to joining Women First, Heather worked as a Nurse Practitioner for a private perinatology practice, providing routine to complex gynecologic and obstetrics health care services. She has also been responsible for direct patient care for high-risk obstetric patients at a Louisville-area hospital. Heather is a member of the Kentucky Association of Nursing. She joined Women First in 2013 and works with Dr. Lori Warren.

I love Dr. Brown. Hands down, she is an Angel on Earth. I literally would not be here today without her. She always tells me exactly what I need to hear, she stands up for her patients, and has believed in me when I don’t believe in myself. Woman’s health isn’t just gynecological. It’s mental. It’s having someone there to hold your hand when you’re alone. And Dr. Brown continues to hold my hand and I can’t thank her enough. I will forever be indebted to her and will love her forever.
