About Dr. Oliphant
Dr. Anne L. Oliphant is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist (OB/GYN) with over five years of experience providing comprehensive, individualized care to women across all stages of life. She is passionate about supporting women’s health through evidence-based medicine, a commitment that ensures her patients feel secure and trust her expertise. Her patient-centered communication further enhances this trust.
Dr. Oliphant’s academic journey is a testament to her dedication to the field of women’s health. Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, she earned her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a Master of Science in Biology at the University of Louisville. Her medical degree was obtained from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and she completed her internship at West Virginia University Hospital. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois.
Before joining Women First, Dr. Oliphant provided care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, most recently serving as an attending physician with The Permanente Medical Group in California. In addition to her clinical work, she has contributed to physician education, focusing on improving communication, mentorship, and safety in women’s health.
