For the convenience of our patients, laboratory blood testing services are available by Quest Diagnostics in the Women First office. If your insurance does not participate with Quest Diagnostics, we will arrange for your testing services to be carried out by a participating laboratory. Otherwise, your blood will be drawn in our office and sent out for testing.
You will be notified by our Women First FollowMyHealth portal or by mail within two weeks if your lab work is normal. Otherwise, you will be contacted by your Physician or her assistant by mail or phone. Our Pap smears and biopsies are sent to Clinical Pathology Associates for interpretation by their cytologists and/or pathologists. You will be notified by our Women First FollowMyHealth portal or by mail within two weeks if your Pap smear is normal. Otherwise our office staff will contact you by telephone to discuss your results.
